Located just 20 miles north of Chicago in a suburban setting, District 225 offers a public education to approximately 4,700 students in Glenview, Northbrook and portions of unincorporated Northfield Township.
Glenbrook North High School (GBN)
GBN is located in Northbrook and serves approximately 2,000 students. The school was built in 1953 and has experienced numerous renovations to keep pace with the academic, activity and athletic needs of students.
Glenbrook South High School (GBS)
GBS is located in Glenview and serves approximately 3,000 students. The school was built in 1962 and features a learning environment that supports academics, activities and athletics.
Glenbrook Off-Campus (GBOC)
Glenbrook Off-Campus is a small therapeutic day school run by District 225 for students with special needs. The Glenbrook Off-Campus School has approximately 50 students.
Glenbrook Academy
The Glenbrook Academy of International Studies is a national recognized program that offers student a unique opportunity to integrate English, social studies and foreign language into a comprehensive curriculum of study.
