Summer School
Each year Glenbrook High School District 225 offers a summer school program for students who want to earn credit in core academic areas, recover credit for a course previously taken, or participate in enrichment courses. Enrollment in summer school is optional, tuition-based, and requires parents to complete the registration process.
Registration & Payment
Summer school registration dates and times are linked to the student’s grade level for the 2026-2027 school year. New this year: summer school course payment will be collected at the time of registration. Students registering as "waitlisted" do not need to submit payment at the time of registration.
Full refund requests may be submitted through Friday, May 22, 2026. No refunds will be issued after May 22, 2026.
Online registration dates:
Class of 2027: January 13, 2026, at 9 a.m.
Class of 2028: January 14, 2026, at 9 a.m.
Class of 2029: January 15, 2026, at 9 a.m.
Class of 2030: January 16, 2026, at 9 a.m.
Note: The Online Registration System Closes on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 3 PM.

Parking
- Students should park in the North end student lot. All drop off and pick up should be at the main entrance Door A, or Door GG located in the North lot.
- Do NOT park, drop-off, or pick-up in the Maple/D30 parking lot.

Chromebook pick-up (Incoming freshman)
- Where: Glenbrook North bookstore
- When: Thursday, June 4, from 8 AM to 3:30 p.m. & Monday, June 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - First day of Summer School.

How to Register
Glenbrook students may register for summer school courses using the online registration system at summerschool.glenbrook225.org. Please note that the system will open at 9 a.m. on your student’s assigned registration date.
When registering, all Glenbrook students—including incoming freshmen—should select “I am a Current Glenbrook Student or Parent” and then choose “Register for Programs.”
Parents/guardians will need their child’s Glenbrook High School student ID number and birthdate (MM/DD/YYYY e.g., 04/14/2011) to complete registration.
Once logged in, select “Choose a Program to View Activities/Courses” and pick Summer School from the drop-down menu.
All courses for which your student is eligible will appear on their registration screen. Prior approval is required for students registering for English or Math for grade recovery.
Registration Steps - NEW This Year - Payment is Required at the time of registration
- Select +Register next to the desired course(s). (Students may enroll in one course per semester.)
- Select Add to Cart.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your payment using a credit card, debit card, or e-check. There are no additional fees for credit or debit transactions.
- If a course is full, select Add to Waitlist - No Payment is Required
If you do not have access to a device with internet capability, computers are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., at the District Administration Building (3801 W. Lake Avenue, Glenview).
When registering for summer school all Glenbrook Students, including incoming Freshman, should select "I am a Current Glenbrook Student or Parent"
