Master Facility Plan

On January 26, 2026, the administration formally presented Glenbrook’s new 10-year Master Facility Plan. More than two years in the making, it reflects a wall-to-wall, outside-in review of 1.3 million square feet across four buildings and 128 acres of campus, enabling us to develop a clear understanding of our facilities and the opportunities ahead.

This Board presentation video recording represents the culmination of extensive work and ongoing dialogue. Over the past several years, we have shared extensive information with our Finance and Facilities Committee members, gathered feedback, and incorporated that input into the plan. Our Board members have shown strong interest in this work, setting clear expectations and maintaining a sharp focus on the positive impact this plan will have on students, staff, and the broader community.

Developing a multi-year facility plan is a routine and responsible practice for all school districts. About every 10 years, districts step back to assess their campuses and create a roadmap for maintenance, improvements, and strategic investments that meet the needs of students and the community both today and for years to come.

At Glenbrook, this work is especially meaningful because our facilities are not just buildings. They are learning environments and community spaces where students grow in every way. In this way, this plan is directly connected to our Strategic Plan, ensuring that our spaces support our goal of creating experiences and opportunities that help students build essential skills and explore paths toward well-being and future success.
