GLENBROOK AQUATICS VACANCY FOR 2017-2018

Glenbrook Aquatics - Head Age Group Coach - The Glenbrook Aquatics program is looking to create a full-time Head Age Group position.  This person will assume a shared role of leadership with the Head Coach, Head Senior Coach and the Head developmental Coach.  Their focus will be on creating and implementing a program designed to introduce and properly instruct the advanced principles of competitive swimming to the middle age groups of our current program.  A more detailed job description is below.  Interested candidates should contact Robert Pieper, Program Director for Glenbrook Aquatics by email at:  rpieper@glenbrook225.org.

CUSTODIAL/MAINTENANCE VACANCY FOR 2017-2018
Base pay for an evening custodian for the 2017-2018 fiscal year is $18.55 per hour.

Department Assistant - Glenbrook North - Career & Life Skills/World Languages Department has an immediate opening for a Department Assistant.  The administrative assistant provides clerical and organizational support to the instructional supervisors and provides ongoing assistance to the teachers and students. The administrative assistant coordinates office support services. This individual is familiar with school policy and procedures as well as departmental goals and performs duties in a fast-paced environment with numerous interruptions. The assistant will maintain and encourage a positive atmosphere that supports a cooperative and efficient work environment while keeping the needs of the students a priority.  A more detailed job description is below.

INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT VACANCIES FOR 2017-2018
Base salary for an instructional assistant is $17.43 per hour for the 2017-18 fiscal year.  Those with a college degree will start at the rate of $18.43 per hour.  Paraprofessional Certification is required.

 

Instructional Assistant - Science Glenbrook South has openings for two Instructional Assistants for this next school year 2017-2018.  One IA will be a full-time employee working 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day.  The second IA will be working 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day.  Both positions will have the opportunity for insurance benefits.  The science instructional assistants should be student-centered with strong science background who will support students in both the science classroom as well as in the Titan Learning Center.  Strong content background in biology and chemistry is essential.  A complete job description can be found below.

NURSING VACANCIES FOR 2017-2018


School Nurse/Homebound Coordinator - Glenbrook North Student Services-Health Office is looking to fill a position for a registered nurse who will also coordinate our Homebound Tutoring program.  Candidate must be a current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.  Also must be current in First Aid, CPR, Hearing and Vision certification.  This position will provide direct nursing services to students and staff members to maximize health and wellness in the school community.  All duties are performed in accordance with district/state Board of Education policies and procedures and laws regarding nursing practice.  A more detailed job description is below.  Applicants please apply online.

Instructional Assistants - Glenbrook District 225 - The Glenbrook High Schools are always looking for qualified instructional assistants, particularly in our Special Education Department.  The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) mandated that all employees working as paraprofessionals (instructional assistants in our district) obtain a "Paraprofessional Certificate" as part of No Child Left Behind (NCLB).  This certification is in addition to any teaching certificates you may already have.  Please apply on line.
