Administrative Vacancies for 2016-17

Director of Technology Services
The Glenbrook High School District is seeking candidates who will provide leadership, build capacity, direct implementation within the school community in the areas of infrastructure, network and cloud-based systems management, hardware and software identification and assessment, district system implementation and management, and technical support for all district personnel.  The director will collaborate with the Director of Instructional Innovation and Techology.

Homebound Teachers for 2016-2017

Glenbrook High Schools are seeking Homebound teachers who would provide instruction to students who are unable to attend school in our buildings.   Homebound teachers generally deliver instruction in core subjects to students at their home.  Assignments can range from a couple days to several weeks.  
 
Each session averages 2 hours per day.  Homebound teachers are compensated at $53/hour for direct instruction and receive some compensation for lesson preparation. To serve as a Homebound teacher, you must hold an Illinois State Teacher License and have an active Illinois Driver’s License.

Long Term Substitute Vacancies for 2016-17

Club and Activity Vacancies for 2016-17

The Glenbrook South High School student activities office is currently taking applications for two costumers for the 2016-17 school year. The costumers would be responsible for the fall and winter plays, musical, variety show, and music department needs (choral and instrumental programs). Applicants must have the ability to put together a costume plot for theatrical productions and be able to sew.
 
Glenbrook South seeks an Assistant Debate Coach for the 2016-17 school year. Applicants must have experience in high school and college policy debate.  This position involves tournament travel, watching practice debates, and assisting in team research projects.

The Glenbrook North High School student activities office is seeking candidates for a Variety Show Director for the 2016-17 school year.  Applicants will direct and oversee the annual Variety Show that brings together music, dance, acting and special interest performances with over 350 student participants.  The ability to work collaboratively with a production team is a must.

Glenbrook North Clubs and Activities.  The following positions are open for internal applicants only for the 2016-17 school year:
  • Sophomore Class Board Sponsor - GBN is looking for a sponsor to actively lead Sophomore student goverment in fundraising, community service, and spirit activities.  They will provide mentorship to leaders and promote unity within the Sophomore class and school community.
