Welcome to the Glenbrook South Parents' Association. Connected and involved parents are essential ingredients for the success of students through their high school experience. This organization creates connections between parents and the school and is comprised of the following:
- Executive Council - Thirty-three parents represent all constituents of Glenbrook South. Parents are included from each geographic area and year in school. There is also a special education representative. The general mission of this group is to be a sounding board for the principal and to plan and run general meetings and special events like Homecoming. Though the Executive Council has set membership, meetings are always open to any member of the Parents' Association.
s General Membership - Parents who contribute for membership in this organization fund general meetings, homecoming activities, special events, and student scholarships. They also receive each addition of The Oracle, our school newspaper. Any parents of Glenbrook South students can take advantage of general membership and participate in general meetings. Three or four general meetings are scheduled each year to provide our parents with current and relevant parenting information.
