 College Searches On The Web 

Naviance - Students should sign into their Naviance account where they can perform College Searches, look up individual Colleges and view Scattergrams which give historical data on GBS student applications to individual schools.  Parents may access the same information in Naviance by entering as a guest.

College Board Online- Use the award-winning college search software ExPAN online for free to find colleges that match your goals and interests. Includes in-depth information about all two-year and four-year colleges in the United States, plus the complete text of The College Handbook.

CollegeEdge- Find useful advice and information on researching, applying, and going to college. Search alphabetically for any college on the WWW. Get your college application essay reviewed by a former Harvard professor.

CollegeNET- This is a searchable data base of colleges, scholarship opportunities, and academic resources. Offers a comprehensive college/university index with good graphics. Recently has begun offering online application processing for "featured schools" only.

CollegeView- By combining a data base of 3,300 two- and four-year colleges with multimedia "tours," CollegeView gives students and parents a general overview of a college, plus a direct e-mail option for requesting additional information.

Peterson's Education Center- Peterson's college data base is available on this home page, as is other educational and career information.

Canadian Embassy-Provides information about tution, living expenses, finacial aid, admission requirements, accomodations, insurance, degreee recognition, student authorization and work opportunities.
