Glenbrook Academy of International Studies in English, Social Studies and World Languages

  • Facilities:  fitness center, field house, aquatic center, outdoor track, tennis courts, baseball and other athletic fields, three auxiliary gyms, main gym, wrestling room, spin room, dance studio, football/soccer stadium, athletic training facilities
  • 10 IHSA State Championships; 6 IHSA runner-up finishes
  • Numerous individual state champions 

PARENT COMMUNITY SUPPORT. . .
  • GBN Parents’ Association and booster groups for athletics, band, orchestra, choral, drama, Special Education, debate and Grad Night
  • Community survey, fall 2005, verified overwhelming support of academic program, balance of opportunities and student achievement
  • Annually, over $100,000 in locally-raised scholarships are awarded to GBN seniors

FACILITIES . . .
  • 72 -acre campus
  • Built in 1953, GBN has been expanded and renovated over the years to keep pace with enrollment, academic programs, technology, fine arts and science.  Today’s over 580,000 square foot complex is built around four courtyards.  The learning environment is enhanced by natural light, welcoming atmosphere, a layout that supports academic areas, cafeterias focused on fresh foods, security, beauty of design and energy conservation
