Administrative Vacancies  for 2015-16

Applicants for these positions must possess or be eligible for Illinois administrative certification.
 
Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking two dynamic educational leaders to assume the roles of principal at Glenbrook North High School (Northbrook, IL) and at Glenbrook South High School (Glenview) .  These appointments will begin July 1, 2015.
 
Applicants for the positions of Principal at either school must possess or be eligible for Illinois licensure.  Salaries are highly competitive with Chicago northshore/northwest suburban districts and an excellent administrative benefit package is provided.

English Instructional Supervisor

College Counselor
Glenbrook South High School is seeking a full-time College Counselor to assist students to become responsible citizens who discover and utilize their talent and their passions.  The College counselor is responsible for managing all aspects related to the College and Career Center and the services offered to families with students who wish to attend college after graduation.
 
Candidates should have three or more years of experience as a high school guidance counselor and be licensed in the state of Illinois.

Glenbrook South High School has the following openings.
  • Certified School Nurse - This is a full time position.  Interested candidates must be a current registered nurse.  Illinois certification is preferred.
  • Interns - GBS is accepting applicants for School Psychologist Interns and Social Work Interns for the 2015-16 school year. Interested applicants should complete the online application.

 

Glenbrook North High School has the following openings:

  • School Psychologist - This is a temporary position that is part-time at 0.6 FTE. Interested candidates should be able to complete case study evaluations and functional behavior assessments, participate in IEP and other multi-disciplinary team meetings, and provide short-term counseling as well as crisis intervention.
  • Certified School Nurse - This is a full time position.  Interested candidates must be a current registered nurse.  Illinois certification is preferred.
  • Head Librarian - This is a full time position for the 2015-16 school year.  Applicants are required to have a Master in Library and Information Science and must possess or be eligible for Illinois Teacher Licensure.  A General Administrative License is highly desired.  Candidates should also have at least 5 years experience as a certified school librarian.  The position will include 10 extra days on the contract to accommodate additional responsibilities.  Please apply online by January 5, 2015.
