The Glenbrook District Office is seeking applicants to fill the part-time position of Private Placement Coordinator.  This is a 10-month, 189 day position that reports to the Director of Special Education.
 
Glenbrook North High School has the following openings for 2015-16.
 
  • Mathematics teacher - This is a part-time position, 0.4 FTE.
  • Mathematics teacher - This is a full-time position.
  • Librarian - This is a full-time, 10-month position at Glenbrook North High School.  A Master in Library and Information Science is required.  Candidates are required to hold or be eligible for an Illinois State teacher license with the appropriate endorsements.

 

Glenbrook South High School has the following openings for 2015-16.
 
  • School Psychologist - This is a part-time position. 0.2 FTE.

  • Physical Education -  full-time position.  Adventure Education background and Tennis.
  • Driver's Ed Instructor; BTW - part-time position, 0.1 FTE.  Driver Education certification required.
  • Mathematics - part-time position, 0.2 FTE.  The rest of the day will be filled in an aide capacity.
  • Intensive ESL - part-time position, 0.4 FTE.  ESL license required, bilingual license preferred.
  • Guided Study Teacher - part-time position, 0.6 FTE.  
  • Spanish Teacher - part-time position, 0.4 FTE.
  • Special Education Teacher/Case Manager- part-time position, 0.6 FTE.  Co-teaching and Mathematics experience preferred.
  • Transition Services Teacher/Case Manager - full-time position. Experience with community based instruction, life skills instruction, vocational training, staff management and scheduling.  Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Special Education DLS/Resource/Co-Taught - part-time position, 0.6 FTE.    Science experience preferred.
  • English Teacher - part-time position, 0.2 FTE. First semester only.

Club and Activity Vacancies for 2015-16

 

Glenbrook North High School has the following open positions:

  • JV Poms Coach - Poms is a dance group that performs throughout the school year at athletic events and assemblies.
  • Assistant Orchesis Director - Orchesis is a modern dance company that performs their annual concert in the spring.  Rehearsals begin in the fall.  Applicants must be well trained in ballet technique as well as have experience in jazz and modern dance.  Experience in working with high school students is preferred.

Instructional Technology Facilitator or Systems Advisor Role

The Director of Instructional Technology will contact you regarding your candidacy for the position in your building.  Final decisions will be made and announced shortly.

 

Glenbrook South High School is seeking a Peer Group Supervisor for the 2015-16 school year.  This internal candidate should be a dynamic individual who can lead a group of seniors in a small group setting and mentor the work they do to help freshmen transition successfully into high school.  There is a week of paid leadership training during the summer that is required for this new hire.  Questions can be directed to Joy Cooper or John Klasen.
