Dr. R.J. Gravel
Dr. R.J. Gravel has served as director of technical services since July 2015. Prior to joining the Glenbrook family, he held the position of director of instructional technology at Johnsburg School District 12 in Johnsburg, IL and was responsible for overseeing the support of all technology services, as well as the infusion of innovative instructional practices in the classroom. Gravel has also served as a technology coordinator and director of liturgical music at St. Bede the Venerable Church and School in Chicago, IL. He received his Doctorate and Master of Science in Education in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University. He has also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University in the field of Political Science and Public Administration. Dr. Gravel is currently a candidate for a second graduate degree in School Business Management from Northern Illinois University. He is an active member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Consortium on School Networking, Illinois Association of School Business Officials, International Society for Technology in Education, and the SchoolCIO Network.
